Friday will be the first time I travel with my little Punkin by myself. I am so incredibly nervous. Not only will it be Punkins first time on a plane, but it will be the first time just being the two of us. I have always loved flying, but I am now finding myself dreading it. This time around I will be the "horrid person" with the possible screaming baby. For the last several weeks I have been reading articles on flying with infants and asking friends and family for advice. I do not think any of it is helping. I just wish it was Friday already so I can stop being a nervous wreck.
On a more positive note, on Friday I get to see one of the greatest friends for the first time in over two years. I am so excited to see her and to be a witness at her wedding. Also, this will be the first time she meets Punkin. This girl was the friend who stuck around when no one else did. She is the definition of a best friend. I am so proud of her for staying true to who she is and what she wanted in a husband. This beautiful woman did not settle. Her soon to be husband is such a lucky man. I wish them both all the love and happiness in the world!
